What is a shared travel map for couples?
A shared travel map is a map you and your partner both add to. Instead of screenshots in a chat or a notes app only one of you remembers, every "we should go there" ends up in the same place, pinned where it actually is.
Seeing your places on a map changes the conversation. You notice that three of your saved spots are in the same city, that the beach you both love is a short trip from somewhere you already planned to visit, or that your list is full of places close to home you could try this month.
How Our World works
Open Our World in Konda and you start on a globe with your pins on it. From there you can search for any place, from a single restaurant to a whole city, and add it to your map. Each place can have:
- A status: Someday for dream places, Planning for places on an upcoming trip, and Visited for places you have already been together.
- A note: why you saved it, what to order, or the best time to go.
- A plan: the trip it belongs to, if it belongs to one yet.
Because the map is shared, you both see every pin, and each place shows who added it. When you are exploring a destination, you can also browse nearby coffee, food, nature and sights to find more places worth saving.
Turning pins into a trip plan
When a trip starts to feel real, create a plan for it. Give it a name, set your dates, and add the places you want to visit. The stops are numbered, so you can put them in the order you will see them and move them around as the plan changes.
A trip plan you both can edit
Dates at the top, stops in order, and a note on each one. Either of you can add a stop or change the order, and the plan stays in sync on both of your phones.
You can also add a trip or a place to your shared Konda calendar, so the dates sit next to your other plans, anniversaries and countdowns.

Tips for planning a trip together
Start with one must-see each. Before filling in the rest of the plan, each of you picks the one place you would be most disappointed to miss. Build the trip around those.
Look at the map before you set the order. Stops that look close in a list can be hours apart. Seeing them pinned helps you group them into sensible days.
Use notes for the details. Opening hours, a dish to try, or "go early before the crowds" is easier to find later when it lives on the place itself.
Leave room. A good shared plan does not need every hour filled. It just needs to give both of you a say in what happens next.
